As the Riders and the Foresworn clashed above Vroengard, a life and death struggle was playing out between two former friends on the outskirts of the city. A man atop a crimson dragon, and a man atop an aquamarine dragon dueled above the battlefield that had once been the peaceful home of the Dragon Riders. Everything seemed to unfold in the blink of an eye. One moment, Brom and Saphira were actually winning. Saphira had Ragnarök's neck her jaws and was on the verge of killing the crimson dragon. The next, it all came tumbling down. Brom felt Saphira tense up and roar in pain, and he felt as if a hot shard of metal was bring driven into
The cool evening air rushed past them as they soared through the rapidly darkening night sky over Alagaesia's central plains. The young man sitting atop the dragon's back snickered as he read a scroll, one of many that they carried in their saddlebags.
"Oh, this is rich! Vrael is worried that the fruit being sent to the troops isn't ripe enough! He wants the elves to cast ripening spells to make sure they don't get anymore sour apples!"
The amethyst dragoness upon which he rode snorted a cloud of black smoke and sparks, clearly not amused. You know you shouldn't be reading those.
"Yeah well, if they're gonna give us such mundane assignment

Chapter 5 a new home
After a month at sea we found land. Emradra had grown big enough to fly and almost too big for the boat. He could not breathe fire yet. He had to fly or swim during the day and was only able to come on the boat when it was anchored for the night; I often went flying with him.

Two days later they returned with surpr

Chapter 1 Hiking
Sometime before the death of Morzan I (Palowood) ran a risky trade business between my people and the Dwarves along the Edda River. That was before I met the two beings that would push my destiny in a different direction.
As an elf I was uneasy in the mountains however I had some free time while the dwarves unloaded our cargo and loade
